The idea of having pictures in your blog that relate to your lesson would help some kids learn and even keep them interested. Another thing i could do is have the kids find a picture that they feel like is relevant to our lesson. If they are understanding and uploading a picture i would want them to maybe give an example of how it relates to the lesson or other pictures i have given.
I believe the kids could have fun with this way of learning and it would also make them think how the picture relates to our lesson instead of just uploading random pictures for fun.
That is a good idea. Some kids do learn much better with pictures and having them explain what their picture means is a good way to make sure they understand the lessons.

ReplyDeleteChanging the blog from just random pictures to pictures that correspond with the lesson is a good way to make up assignments. The student will be more excited about blogging if they find it more interesting.

ReplyDeleteI like that you would have your students contribute by putting a picture up that relates to lesson. This would mean they understood what was being taught because they would have to search what they know to know the picture is a good demonstration.

ReplyDeleteMy son had a teacher who used the idea of finding pictures to describe what they were learning. He had a ton of fun with that. The students really do get involved.
